I hold a Ph.D. in Latin and Roman Studies from the Classics Department at the University of Florida, with special interests in ancient Roman slavery and Seneca the Younger. My most recently updated book series is "5 Lessons from Great Thinkers" which now includes several separate, short books entitled “5 Lessons” from the following authors: Augustine, Seneca, Paul, Ortega y Gasset (related to a separate series on this author), Wittgenstein, Sartre, Gabriel Marcel, John Dewey, Pope Francis, William James, George Santayana, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, Benedict Spinoza, René Descartes, Immanuel Kant, Miguel de Cervantes.
